There's something strange about this game that always makes me want to type Tiny Hawl over Tiny Hawk, but regardless of that bug (feature?), this game is pretty bossrockin. Skate, wallride, ollie, and grind your way to victory! Use your killer shred to collect all the gems in the shortest amount of time and go for the gold! When I created FlashPunk, I never foresaw it becoming such a successful starting point for new programmers; but it is, and one of the most common issues beginners have with their games is communicating information between existing Entities in their projects. In this new tutorial, I explain a couple different common ways of doing this: by using static variable in ActionScript, or by using a set of useful functions provided by FlashPunk for this very purpose.
